What are You Doing During Commercials?

Hey, don't waste those commercials sitting there or going to the kitchen to get food. This is a great opportunity to fit in those mini workouts or part of them.

  • You can do any of the ab exercises out there. I have a post on best ab exercises that you can check from my older posts. Commercials can be 2 minutes or longer. Try doing a plank during a commercial & see how long you can hold it!

  • You can do push-ups. What a great exercise that works the shoulders, chest, triceps, core & more! If you are new to them, start with the "girl push-ups", your knees on the ground.. who cares if you can only do 1 or 2 at first. Keep working at it & you will be able to do more with time & eventually do the "men push-ups". I love push-ups & do all kinds: standard, close grip, 1 hand on a step & one on the ground, both on a small medicine ball, my feet up on a step or those large exercise balls that are used for abs. There are so many ways to do push-ups & a great overall resistance exercise!

  • Do high leg lifts, meaning march in place but lift those knees high when you march in place.

  • Do butt (glute) exercises. Plenty of those you can do at home!!!!

  • If you have weights at home, do some of your weight workout during the commercials.

There are lots of exercises that can be done rather than sitting or eating... you could even do your marching in place or jump rope or dancing while watching your show too. Turn up the sound if you can't hear it but I bet the time will go by quicker this way. Make use of the time you have especially for those that are time crunched!!!!
