So, my tip of the day discusses steps to reduce your calorie count each day. I have also posted about this & mentioned a great article in Oxygen magazine with specific examples of how to do this. The tip discusses
finding lower/non fat versions of some of your favorite items like butter and salad dressing. This also can be applied to sour cream, cream cheese, milk, yogurt and many more food items. Also
check out the accompanying articles below on swap outs for some favorite foods. If your current eating habits are pretty bad or if you are eating way too many calories, these changes are really going to help.
Take small steps toward a better you. As you continue on this journey, you will start incorporating many more healthier choices like whole grains and vegetables, spices instead of butter or salt (Mrs. Dash has lots of great flavors), complex carbohydrates, leaner versions of protein to name just a few. This is a process and one that you want to work for life so don't try to do everything at once or it may overwhelm you & force you to stop.
Be patient and your goals will be achieved beyond your expectations!
