This picture comes from the official Bosu website. I wanted to talk more about the core and abdominals since they do like variety like the rest of your body. In the top picture, you see a standard crunch but on the Bosu. This is definitely harder than it appears balancing on the Bosu. To make it easier, try just putting your feet on the floor to do a standard crunch or even an oblique crunch. To challenge yourself more, as you crunch, alternate lifting up each leg, meaning as you crunch, lift up the right leg & place it back down as you release and then lift the left leg on the next rep and continue alternating for that set. Another challenge would be to lift the right leg straight out & leave it straight next to your left leg while crunching up & then do the same amount of reps with your left leg straight out.The lower picture is a great workout for your whole core & "lower abs".
There are lots of way to vary your routine & this is a good way to change up the abs from the standard crunch or a crunch on the larger fitness balls. Enjoy the change & variety!
