Once again, another study proving that logging your food or having a food journal/diary does lead to increased weight loss. If you think about it, when you log your food & evaluate what you are eating, how many calories, how much fat etc., it only makes sense that you care enough to know what you are doing right or wrong & you want to make the changes needed to reach your goal. For those that have not logged their food before but are still struggling to lose weight, do try this!!! The tendency is to want to hide from what we are really doing. What we don't know will not hurt us. WRONG! In this arena, knowledge is power and if you really want it, then try this. This recent study from an article on Diet Blog said:"Those who kept daily food records lost double the amount of weight of those who kept no food records. As noted above this result was more pronounced in non-African Americans than for African Americans." See the full article at this link:

Give this a try if all else has failed. It may not be pretty at first but it will be "telling" and may just be the incentive you need to lose it this time!!! Good luck!
