Sexy Shoulders

Hey, what is summer & sleeveless tops without some sexy shoulders. There are so many ways to create sexy shoulders but let's start with the basics first. The shoulder press. You can do this with dumbbells, a barbell, resistance tubing, machines and more. You can do it standing, sitting, sitting on an exercise ball or even a coffee table at home. If you do work out at home, you can use water bottles, cans of vegetables or anything else handy you have as long as you use the same weight for each side if you are pressing, say for example, water bottles. Again, you can use resistance tubing or your own dumbbells at home too.

Click the link below for a great how to video from one of my newest fav sites. If you are worried that you can't hold your core in the proper position as a beginner, feel free to sit on a chair or bench at the gym with a back. I prefer to do them standing as an advanced workout person as it forces me to hold my core tight (added benefit to working the core too). Heavier lifters may prefer to do them seated.

Here is another video showing the seated shoulder press:

It's a great exercise to strengthen the shoulders for those times when reaching overhead, whether it's at home or during shopping.
